      • At the request of the Office of Secretary of Defense - Comptroller (OUSD-C) and Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), developed the methodology used by the Department of Defense to estimate the value of non-munitions excess, obsolete, and unserviceable inventory, and assisted with the integration of this methodology into DoD’s Financial Management Regulations and DLA’s SAP-based enterprise resource planning (ERP).

      • Developed an electronic data interchange (EDI) for the Defense Logistics Management Standards Office to enable the transmission of an inventory item’s moving average cost from losing inventory managers to gaining inventory managers in response to BRAC inventory realignments.

      • Identified and submitted change requests for incorrect SAP code that did not conform with generally accepted accounting principles and performed data manipulations in SAS and Excel to reconstitute and/or clean transactional data that had been erroneously aggregated in EDIs feeding into DLA’s ERP from externally-held databases.

      • Assisted with wall-to-wall inventory count at Defense Depot Hill Utah, including conducting quality control counts, to provide assurance to the Secretary of Defense that classified material was segregated from unclassified material flow.

      • Performed examinations of Universal Service Fund IT equipment and services at educational entities throughout the South, including Katrina Zones, to provide assurance to the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC) that Universal Service Fund beneficiaries were in compliance with Federal Communication Commission regulations and USAC rules.
